Which phones work with iTarget Pro?
The free iTarget Pro app works on iPhone and Android. The iTarget sled's universal phone mount holds phones up to 3.5 inches wide.
What game modes does the app have?
Bullseye (free) for precision shooting with scoring and shot placement, Quickdraw (free) to time your draw from the "Draw!" signal to your hit, High Score (in-app purchase), a called-target game, and Duel (in-app purchase), where two shooters go head to head.
Where do I get the targets?
Download them free from our Targets page: Bullseye, Silhouette, High Score and Duel. Each PDF is already sized to fit, so print it on regular 8.5 x 11 paper at the normal (100%) setting.
What is the range?
The app doesn't care whether you are 10 feet or 100 yards away - it looks for the red laser on the target, so range depends on how bright the laser is when it hits. Indoors you won't reach the limit. Outdoors, sunlight washes out the laser, so keep the target in the shade. It has been tested at over 25 yards, shooting from the yard into the house.
What about the lack of recoil?
Dry fire can't reproduce recoil, but it builds the fundamentals that matter most for accuracy: sight alignment, trigger control and a consistent grip. Re-racking the slide between shots also forces you to reacquire your sights, much like recoil does. Read more.
Your Gun
Will it work in my gun?
iTarget laser bullets work in most handguns and many rifles. In the Ruger SR series, Ruger P95, Walther PPS and Walther CCP the firing pin stays engaged after each shot, which keeps the laser on until the slide is re-racked - these guns need our pulse end cap. After you order your caliber, email sales@itargetpro.com with your order number and we'll send the laser with a pulse cap. The Tanfoglio 9mm has a tighter hexagonal barrel; use a .380 laser in it. In the Beretta AX100 rifle, the .223 laser gets stuck in the bolt. Read more.
Do I have to rack the gun each time?
Your gun works exactly as it does when dry firing without the laser. Striker-fired guns like a Glock or Sig need to be re-racked to reset the trigger. Double-action (DA/SA) guns, like the Taurus G2C, let you keep pulling the trigger. For training, re-racking has a benefit: it takes your sights off the target so you have to regain sight alignment, just like recoil. Read more.
Does it work in revolvers?

How does the laser bullet not get ejected?
The laser bullet has no rim, so the extractor has nothing to grab. To remove it, push it out with a pencil or cleaning rod.
Is dry firing bad for my gun?
iTarget laser bullets have a rubber primer that cushions the firing pin, so dry fire practice with them is safe for your gun. Read more.
What batteries does the laser use?
Each laser bullet uses 3 LR626 batteries (included), good for about 3,000 shots. Replacement 10 packs are available.
Help
The app isn't seeing my target or my shots. What do I check?
First watch our instructional videos. The app needs to see the whole target, including all 4 triangles, to line up automatically. Then work through our step-by-step troubleshooting guide. Read more.
My iTarget Cubes won't connect. What do I do?
Turn on both Bluetooth and WiFi on your phone and disconnect from other Bluetooth devices while you program the cubes, then follow the steps in our Cube troubleshooting guide. Read more.

How fast do you ship?
Shipping is free in the USA. Orders are processed in 1-3 business days (we don't ship on weekends), and most ship US Priority Mail, usually 2-5 days. Outside the USA, you are responsible for any import fees. Read more.
What is your return policy?
Return anything bought on our website within 30 days for a full refund, for any reason. Please contact us first - we can usually solve the problem - and we'll email you an RMA to include with your return. The buyer pays return postage. Read more.
